I'm writing after a gap of 7 months! Well, this proves, blogging is not really 'my kind of thing'.
In the meantime few things have changed in my life. Am I happy for them? perhaps I am. :)

I've watched these movies (and liked them, hence taking the pain of penning them down:)) after coming to Pune for 6 weeks. They are:

1. A Mirror has two faces, English (Barbra Streisand)
2. Mr. Holland's Opus, English
3. Herbert, Bengali (Suman Mokhopadhyay)

New Year Wishes

Today is a new day. A fresh new day of a garden fresh new month and year. :-)
Today is the 1st day of January, 2009.
I feel hopeful and happy. Somehow all the wishes from friends help me feel that. I don't know if these wishes are just empty words. Templates, forwards or copies, I don't care. Today I 'd love to believe that these wishes are the heartfelt wishes from people I know, I love and care for.

2008 wasn't a great year, not that bad too. It was just OK, but I've learnt a lot from people and relations. Some were good, some were painful as well. Nevertheless, they've enriched me.
Wish I can get a lot better this year. Wiser, stronger (sounds like Horlicks ad :-)) and more mature in my decisions and actions.
Wish that we get a peaceful earth and a safe atmosphere for everyone, this year. Wish this planet knows no hunger, violence or terror. Wish that every human gets the light of knowledge and the warmth of love.
Peaceful and prosperous New Year to my wonderful, wonderful world. Happy New Year.

Romancing Lemon tea

A serious confession follows.
I love the aroma and flavor of Lemon tea.
A few drops of tangy, aromatic lemon juice in that golden liquid prepared out of Darjeeling tea tastes like heaven to me. That's my comfort drink.
I also like the taste and smell of ginger tea, sometimes with milk but most of the time without.
Well, I guess I love tea in general, a light brew with a teaspoon of honey instead of sugar. I also appreciate most of the concoctions that are sold as Herbal tea.

And of course, I love black coffee. with sugar.
Usually I choose from this very small unwritten menu card of mine, as soon as i get up in the morning. Most of my days begin with tea, any tea.
Yesterday was one of my black coffee days and today is a honey-tea day :)

As you've become

Not hating you is tough
Not loving you is impossible

I don't know why it is this way,
Yet it seems
Things were always this way,
and will be,

As you've become
The living part of me

Experimental

He said "Wait!!"
Said, Yes may be I'll like it beside those hills
at dusk
Said, we'll take a tram, or may be
I'll walk with you
Said, not bad, do they have pinkish white arms? The Irani girls?
Said, Oh you scold people by the roadside! very preachy of you

and then,
Said, never mind,
all that was an experiment
that left a little
headache.

I couldn't say anymore.

It sounded like an iron boot,
The sound of a boot with
cold iron heels
thrust against all the tender grass,
that grew,
lovingly
beside my shadowy avenues

His Majesty

He doesn't talk to me.
I feel a little restless;
and insecure.
He doesn't like me, or care
I know
and I guess,
I don't feel any pain,
anymore.
after all these days
of love
and war,
I don't know if I do.
